Dear Students and friends,
Our 1st Batizado of 2013 will take place @ Queensbridge Sports & Community Centre, 30 Holly Street, Hackney, London, E8 3XW. From 13:00-18:00.
The venue have some facilities that we can use like: showers and changing rooms.
The Batizado is the event that a new student receive his/her first belt, and also his/her nickname in Capoeira.
It's a celebration to grade students that already have a belt (cordão).
It will be a chance to share and play capoeira with our friends and fellows capoeiristas from different styles that have been invited to be with us for this occasion.
We'll have the kids ceremony first, and then the adults afterwards.
We'll also have some brazilian food at the venue, so you're more than welcome to bring some drinks if you want (just not alcohol).
